Halo: SRS99C-S2AMB aka Sniper Rifle

Based heavily off of the Denal NTW-20 anti material rifle originating out of South Africa, the SRS99 is a slight offshoot of the brilliant design  Relocating the magazine from the side to standard configuration, the SRS99 has a wishbone shaped recoil buffer system that is attached to a telescoping rotating bolt that fires a 14.5mm Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot round, to deliver maximum armor penetrating damage. The SRS99 features a real time x10 video scope with a built in rangefinder and infrared system, for fast target acquisition.
Of all of the SRS99's that the Halo series has managed to produce, I chose the Halo 2 variant as it comes closest to a functional, practical rifle. Unlike the others, save the SRS99 from Halo:CE, the details are quite subtle making it more of a practical design over the other SRS99 variants.

    1. As I've mentioned above, I use expanded PVC foamboard and sheet styrene to make my stuff. I do have access to a lot of firearms, and use those as references for when I build the Halo guns. But I don't use real bullets or metal in my projects and kits.

  4. This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It is the old what goes around comes around routine. vortex diamondback review
